Car:
Hamburg and the UKE can be easily reached by car from all directions. The A1, A7, A24 and A23 freeways lead directly to Hamburg.
There are various parking areas and parking garages at the UKE. If you have booked a room at the Dorint Hotel Hamburg Eppendorf (address: Martinistrasse 72, 20251 Hamburg-Eppendorf), parking spaces are available nearby (for a fee).

Airplane:
Hamburg Airport handles over 15 million passengers annually, making it the fifth largest airport in Germany. Hamburg Airport is served by all German and most international airlines.

The Dorint Hotel and the Erika-Haus can be reached from the airport by cab in 15 minutes. By public transport (via the S1, U1 or bus lines 20, 25, 392) you can reach the UKE in 35 minutes.

Train:
Travel to Hamburg by train in a relaxed way. The main train station is Hamburg Central Station. Alternatively, if your train stops at the station, you can get off at Hamburg Dammtor station. The UKE can be reached very easily by public transport from both stations.
